Pastrami on rye

More like pasta dura, a la Todd at La Paloma. Really hand-made, and you see the hands that make it. And talk to them: “Front page of The Age, eh?”
“Front page of the food section. Would rather be on the front page of sport.”
“‘Brunswick’s biggest soccer fan’.”
And a short black with that faint licorice taste. What coffee is that? Seven dollars all up.
